CADC offers several services to individuals and families intended to meet needs that everyone faces from time to time. Contact your county CADC office for the right staff person to get the process started.
Emergency Assistance- CADC provides limited assistance for the payment of utility bills and to provide food, shelter, and other basic services.
Referrals - We don’t always have the program or resources to meet your specific need, but more than likely our staff knows the right Agency or organization that does. They will be glad to try and make that connection to available services in the area.
Voluntary Income Tax Assistance - Each January through April 15th our staff and volunteers prepare simple income tax returns for families whose gross income is under $50,000.00. Our returns are filed electronically in most cases and you get your refund back quickly and reliably. And best of all, the service is FREE!
Rx Program - Many people without insurance or those who don’t have prescription coverage can apply at our Agency for assistance in receiving maintenance prescription drugs at low cost or in many instances at no cost to you. Contact Korrie Rubio in our Frederick office at 580 335 -5588 for more details.
Affordable Care Act- Our Agency participates as a Navigator site for Little Dixie Community Action to help people search for health coverage that meets their needs and price range under the Affordable Care Act. We have certified and trained staff members in the Frederick and Sentinel offices that serve the entire Agency. Our job is not to promote any specific plan, but to help you “navigate” through the system and let you examine the choices and make your own decision on health care. A call to either the Frederick or Sentinel office will connect you with the staff that can assist you.
Child Care- CADC has opened licensed Day Care Centers in Frederick and in Burns Flat. Infants are accepted as well as persons qualifying under SoonerCare. Call 580- 335 -5644 in Frederick or 580 -562- 4513 in Burns Flat for details.
