Our weatherization program is funded through the Department of Energy and the Department of Human Services. CADC has one of the highest trained and certified staffs in the State on home energy conservation. A computerized energy audit is conducted on each house before and after rehabilitation to determine the energy efficiency. Average energy savings of at least $450.00 annually are realized by recipients. The program also looks for health and safety issues in heating and cooling systems and can make improvements in these areas as well.
CADC has several homes for rent, primarily in Frederick. If interested contact the office at 580 335 5588 for information.
